More Confidence
So many people lack confidence but they never have a clear understanding of what it is they want to achieve for themselves. Having a plan of action can give a person confidence because you start to see it’s achievable. Thoughts hold tremendous power. Start by thinking about what you want to erase from your life and what you want more of. If you visualise your future, what would you like to achieve? Every day start to visualise a brighter future, bold and clear achieving whatever goals you like. But first of all we need to identify what we want. Think on a small scale if necessary, what are the specific things that make your life more fulfilling and meaningful? It could be learning something new or taking long walks. Let your unconscious mind set a target as ‘fulfilling work’ and then you will know when you have got it. Confidence is all in the mind! Many people just ‘fake’ it until they actually start to believe it. Before an event that you are nervous or unconfident about find somewhere quiet, close your eyes and visualise yourself achieving exactly the result you want. Do this over and over again, by the time you actually do the activity or attend the event your brain will be tricked into thinking that you’re already confident. Do you procrastinate instead of going for your dreams? Perhaps lack of confidence is stopping you and procrastination is a handy excuse. What is your lack of confidence costing you in your life? Some people have a fear of failure so they never actually go for any of their dreams or goals. People assume it is a lack of confidence in general that’s the problem, but if you can find the underlying cause – such as fear of failure, fear of success etc; then you are better equipped to make the changes necessary to succeed. Watch Out for Undue Criticism - Especially Your Own! Tips · Not all confident looking people are that way naturally. They have bad moments too – they just don’t tell you! · If you are lacking confidence it doesn’t mean other people know. They are often far too busy with their own lives to notice. · If you find yourself saying things to yourself like, ‘I’m useless, can’t do anything right.’ Then change your dialogue and say the opposite, ‘I can do anything.’ · Don’t let yourself make sweeping statements – challenge your beliefs – if you say I’m not good at anything is that really true? Surely there’s something you are good at? · Be aware of your thinking patterns and internal dialogue then change it! · Persevere and don’t expect everything at once. Start with small steps, listen to the download regularly and enjoy building great self confidence every day. | S P A C E R | Self confidence means: Being calm - When you begin to expose yourself to a greater range of situations your confidence will grow. At first this may be difficult but concentrate on enjoying the moment and think about the appropriate level of emotion needed for each experience. Is there really a need to get so tense about meeting new people or giving a presentation? Put it into perspective. The hypnosis download will give you a great opportunity to practise being ‘confident’ within your own head in a range of situations! Not being concerned with what other people think of you - Your imagination is strong – stop trusting it! When you create a story in your mind about what other people think of you and what they are saying, thinking and seeing, you can easily be completely wrong. So start assuming they are saying and thinking nice things about you. Being specific - where do you want to be confident - 'Confidence' is meaningless until you tie it to something specific. You are already confident that you can read these words or can switch a light on and off. So you don't need more confidence everywhere. To get what you want in life you have to establish exactly what and where you want confidence. You beginning to steer your brain towards confidence. Don't fill your mind with negatives - Instead of: 'I don't want to fail’ (which sets the task of failing within your brain), set the blueprint for what you do want! Your brain doesn't work towards what to do by being told what not to do.
